When you look at your horse and just think “wow I’m so lucky”. Robin was tied up today and spied the tractor through the window. So he was stood ears pricked and interested. I had to stop and just watch him as he looked so stunning. Despite being so ill for so long he still looks well. I’m so lucky having him ❤️

Awww thats so lovely! Yes they do take my breath away... the visual beauty of horses goes without question but when they do unexpected little things which lets you know are empathetic creatures. Always gets me.

I very rarely get my breath taken away when looking at Blue - I'm very much aware that she's got a long back and a plain head that isn't helped by her perpetually grumpy expression.

But every time I get back from a hack, I think how lucky I am to have her. She'll happily march past pretty much anything (although sheep and wheelie bins need to be glared at), has a turbo turn of speed when asked, and is all-round fun to ride.
