When to arrive? When to get on?

How early would you arrive for a dressage comp? It's horses first comp, and I haven't competed for years. Venue is 30 mins away in trailer. I was thinking leave yard 1hr20 before test time? I don't want him to get too wound up. Also how long would you warm up for? I was thinking 20 mins? Any additional tips please throw them my way! Ty!

I would say it depends on your horse. Ours takes a good 30 mins to get working nice so we usually get there about 45 mins before test time xx

Don't do dressage, but we always get to a show aout an hour before, so we are not rushing to sign in , final groom, tack up and warm up
