when to spay a bitch

after they have a season. is it about 3 months later. my border collie is 3yo and just had her season a week ago. my scruffy dog is size of a cat and 16yo and has always had and interest in her when she has been in season but this time it was unbearable, he howled all night and did all the actions when i used to try and swop them over quickly.
 
Just had my bitch done, about 3 months after her season. The ideal time is midway between seasons, my girl was done a little late as she goes only 4 months between seasons, but we had to give her time to get over a false pregnancy

let them have at least one season..usually 6-8 mths
let the bitch mature abit first
 
I think the OP is trying to establish the best time to spay a bitch when it already has an established pattern of seasons, her bitch is 3 years old.
