My two horses are currently still out 24/7 with good grazing. When would be a good idea to start feeding them again? One horse is injuried and my other pony is going to be going out hunting soon. They have lite dengie, beet and mins and vits. They both are good doers but would it be best to feed when I start to bring them in over night? Or just feeding them slowly? They wouldn't need the beet yet as they both don't need any more weight on them

I think the one in work should be getting something every day, just a token amount so he gets his vits and mins as I guess he is in full work getting fit to hunt, I would not increase the amount until he needs it, better to give more hay than feed to keep the weight on over winter.
The one resting may also benefit from daily vits/ mins to help the healing process, you only need to give enough to carry the supplement and that should have no effect on their weight.
