If u have had a horse sent of for work schooling/backing/driving anything really, how long did you wait to see the horse being worked/handled? Not just a hello in the stable/field.
Did u ask to see or was it offered for you to see?

Speak to the people training her and ask when is the best time :D
I'd be quite happy to pop down once a week and watch how she was getting on.

When mine was been backed i went and watched him after a week i was told i was welcome to go whenever i wanted to watch him worked!

I saw mine after 10 days, then again a week before he came home. It wasn't practical to go anymore than that but I got regular texts/ Facebook updates.

I encourage my clients to come as often as they want. If they want to see them work we schedule a time. But if they just want to pop in to see how they are, anytime within reasonable hours. Not 3am drunk at the pub lets go visit our horse visits. Yup that actually happened.

Only because I was genuinely interested in my horses progress & not because I was distrustful but I went every day for the first 2 weeks then weekly after that, then towards the end daily again as I was having lessons on my youngster as I was out of practice at riding wobbly youngsters.

I would be concerned if I was ever put off visiting, I understand they have a yard to run but most yards are fairly flexible as long as you are not a nuscience and hang around out staying your welcome!

My boy recently went away as the big galumpfa jumped and landed on my foot, breaking it... He was just over an hour away, and obviously I couldn't drive so I went every two weeks to begin with and then I went every day in the last week he was there to ride him etc and get to grips with where he was at.

I would reccomend you go at least once a week and then plan to book time off towards the end of his stay so that you can go up and ride / handle him yourself plenty of times before he comes home.
