when to wear a navy jacket in showing classes?

I've received this lovely navy Bernard Weatherill hunt jacket that my mum would wear out when she was my age so was very eager to wear it out myself but as my horse is only young, we're not quite ready to go out hunting. I was wondering if I could wear it in any showing classes come the season in summer but hes a Murgese so not really the fine boned ridden hack type (if that matters, i'm not 100%). Not totally sure what classes we could do other than foreign breeds but I'll look into it. Totally fine if not as I already have some tweed jackets and I'll just save it for when we're ready to hunt!

I know people wear navy jackets in evening performances but I think it's the traditional tweed for normal showing classes x

For adults, I believe it’s hack classes and championships at big shows/ evening performances. Everything else is tweed.

As @Boots above says though think part bred Arab and some foreign breed classes too. Have a look at some show photos where they have the type of class you’re doing.
