When was the last time you smiled when riding?

Im hoping tomorrow afternoon... first time I've ridden for a couple of months, taking my hairy heifer out with a friend who has lost her confidence on her TB... hoping it will give her a reason to smile too - her mare is lovely!

Every time. Everytime I ride I just feel so lucky and privileged to be able to be doing this. Last time was last year though, because I don't have the opportunity to ride anymore.

Wednesday I went for a fab ride across the downs then into the forest, Axel was really enjoying himself and we had some brilliant canters. I have found a great track in the forest that has a small fallen tree across it that we jumped.
Then we had a blast up the gallops on the way home! I was smiling the whole time I was riding, love my horse xx
