When would you jump following lameness?

So I went to ride my mare yesterday and she is definitely sound in walk but as I went to trot she didn't feel quite right, we trotted her up and she was ever so slightly short in her left fore but on a scale of 0-10 it was maybe 2 out of 10 so really minor, there was ever such a mild sign of heat and fractional swelling in her knee so we thought she might have banged it getting up in the stable.

I cold hosed yesterday and then today cold hosed three times throughout the day and used cooling gel, the heat has gone and there isn't a clear sign of swelling and trotted her up this evening and she's looking much better both in mine and others opinions.

Assuming she comes sound later in the week, how would you personally go about riding again and if she stays sound following flat work what about jumping?

Its such a minor injury so I didn't think the whole 6-8 week programme would really be necessary especially given how fit she currently is, I don't trust my own judgement hence why I'm asking, I'd hate to over do it.

Personally..I'd leave her a week, gentle flat work or hacking...try low jumps and see how she is afterwards and the following day...slowly slowly best in the end...good luck

As above.
I usually book a lesson and ask my instructor to check that all is OK doing flat work before jumping. This is after I have hacked out quietly for a few days without problems.
