OH has very kindly offered to look after his friends dog for a weekend in early December. It will be Friday to Sunday, so we will be at home to make sure all is fine.

Today, we agreed to meet up on neutral territory to see how they get on. As you can see, they got on well, and we will be meeting up again a few times before the weekend that “Paul” comes to stay.

Luna did launch herself into the water to get the ducks just after this pic was taken. She was on long lead, so no harm to her or ducks.

Good dogs! We went to High Paradise Tearooms to break up an 11 mile walk on Thursday. Sausage, the resident JRT and his terrier pals (all lovely, friendly dogs) were loose and our two Labradors never batted an eyelid, even when there were table scraps to be had. I feel proud that they're so well adjusted, you should too. Sadly the same could not be said of the dog we met on the way home whose owner had no idea that its behaviour was very intimidating. Peril was too fast for it, and was too busy searching for partridge and pheasant, so he gave up and decided to have a go at Jake instead, he was roundly ignored by Jake (who, despite being a Labrador, is not a dog person) so left with his tail between his legs because he failed to antagonise either of them. 🐾🐾😍🐾
