When your horse has bloods taken....

.... do you get full results over the phone from your vet or does it come in writing? Also how definitive is this, or depending on cell counts etc can further tests need to be taken? My yearling had bloods taken yesterday and are having full analysis in the labs this week. Wondered what your experiences are.

My vet rang me once the lab had contacted them, however I'm still waiting for the results to be posted through, you should receive written confirmation but I think this is done by the lab and not by the vet.

my vet rang me with results and i asked them to send me a copy of them in the post as well!
