cant find anything! 15hh ish uncomplicated allrounder is not too much to ask - especially as where i am - stroud, glos - is so horsey!
anyone else having trouble?
Maybe its all about location. It's a bit galling reading all the posts lamenting the lack of people wanting a leg of an equine companion when there doesn't seem to be anyone willing to share near me in London who doesn't also want a small fortune in "contributions."
On the plus side, the first riding lessons after 16 years of happy hacking are starting to pay off.

Now you're just showing off!!
I wouldn't mind but I have said that I'd be quite happy with someone doing work for rides - I need help exercising him. I would have jumped at the chance of doing that when I was younger!

YES I AM!
Ive only been waiting to get my own yard since i was 10! i feel it is entirely justified me bouncing off the walls after a 14 year wait!
It took me ages to find someone to share one of my two horses for free, I just wanted someone to ride with me midweek and also go to the beach & hunt - no one wanted to do it, the horses are fab too!
I know of a nice 16.2hh horse to loan but only in East Sussex area.
I've just got a loan, feel really lucky (pony for my daughter). She is arriving next week in time for half term.
Back in September I was offering my mare for loan, but actually I couldn't go through with it, she is a special horse with a few quirks! I still would be up for a share mind....
