I've been trying to find someone to share/loan my section A for the last couple of months but have had barely any interest. Only two people have contacted me but they wanted a proper loan, I'm not prepared to let her leave my yard so they where a no go unfortunately!

Do people just not want to share small ponies? She is available for as much riding as they want. Can be competed, hunted, taken to PC and lessons. I'm even happy to transport them there!!

If anyone know any small children or lightweight adults looking for a bit of fun please send them my way, I have a fab pony currently sat in the field being completely and utterly wasted :(

Have you tried advertising with your local pony club?

I advertised for someone who wanted to come and ride a pair of lovely, quality 14.2s with me back in Feb. It took me until August to find someone. I was a bit surprised it took so long, I thought people would be keen for some no strings no chores riding.

Could be time of year. I have a perfect PC pony to share and have never had a problem finding sharers - I usually have to choose from a batch. But when I re-advertised last week I've had only 2 replies. I think a lot of people are away.

Do try your local PC branch - I find word of mouth the best way to get the people I want! Persoanlly I wanted to rest my lad after camp anyway so I'll try again in a couple of weeks.

I'm the same! 14.2 Connie, fab jumper, easy going and noone wants to know! The ones that do either want to move him (he's to stay on current yard) or have fibbed about their abilities, turn up and are useless!

Will give the PC a try and I guess I should try putting some adverts up in tack/feed shopes as well rather than just online.

If you are happy to teach people some stuff:
Try local riding schools- it is a great next step to getting a pony.
Lots of people should be interested!
