Where are Cradle Stakes ponies advertised?

We're looking for a cradle stakes pony or a first year first ridden who can jump to do a little low key showing and mainly pony club and they seem to be like hen's teeth! I'm watching horsequest, H&H, horsemart, horsedeals, horseselect, PC website etc but there seem to be so few advertised. Is there anywhere obvious that I am missing?

Has anyone tried a wanted ad on any of these websites with any success? We're happy to wait till the end of the season for the right pony and age is immaterial so this should widen the market but I can only see one advertised and whilst I have what I think is a realistic budget £6,500 is a bit over what I want to spend!!

Any advice gratefully received!

I would try horsequest or possibly contact someone on your local bsps committee to see if they know of any good ponies for sale, the very good workers rarely seem to come up on the open market.

Thanks. Have tried the bsps committee and am watching horsequest. I hate horse and pony buying - it is so stressful - and doubly so when a very little person is involved!

Where up north are you and how far are you prepared to travel?

Scotsmare - We are central region and prepared to travel pretty much anywhere for the right pony.

my only other thought is to put a wanted advert on horsequest I have done that in past with great success

Thanks Cookie, that's good to know. I just wasn't sure if that would produce much of a response but I'll have a go with a wanted advert there.
