Where are the Badminton SJ highlights?!

Its still being shown later, whats the big fuss?? The snooker is the World Championship afterall - this is 'just' Badminton. Yes, to us it's a huge thing but to the BBC and non horsey things then i daresay a world championship of a more popular sport will take precedent and they couldn't be expected to just drop the coverage of it when it runs over time.

Due now to start at six thirty :D

Don't mind when games run over, indeed understand the passion :D, but do object strongly when it's some sill quiz that isn't even vaguely interesting or relevant!

Fair point, if a game overuns there isn't much they can do but the flaming quiz took the pee :(

My guide on Virgin Media is showing 'Great British Menu' after David Cameron disappears :p

it was xc highlights at half 12 then when that finished claire balding said that red button now is sj, it was live for the last 20 jumping then finished straight after the winner jumped.

I think the bit which is taking the pee is making me sit through this Tory load of bull***t before the SJing starts :p:D

Now says it will be on BBC2 in a few mins. O/H says Snooker was not at a critical stage but as we all know boys watch snooker whereas equestrian sports are dominated by the girls.

Just another example of the sexist BBC. Who else gets fed up with having three channels showing football at the same time. Ask for a refund on your TV licence - I can't I live in France!!!

Sky Plus is so clever, I set it to record at the original time and it has automatically changed the time!

Rollin you're the one being sexist by saying only girls like horses and only boys like football?

I did not say only girls like horses I said equestrianism is a female dominated sport.

60% of horse riders in the UK are female and I don't know of any Premier League Female football teams and certainly never seen any female football on prime time TV.

So angry about the snooker and PPB. I'd set the box to record (can't remember techie name) so I get no Badminton SJ just a load of cr*p. No good talking about red button if you're out fo the house - can't record red button on Virgin tele. Especially angry as Badminton days were changed to accommodate TV scheduling and what happens - no live XC or SJ on terrestial TV. Should have left it to original format Thurs - Sun and then we wouldn't have had the snooker final. What about next year - Badders is on over Easter weekend - how to convince OHs that we should all go for four days while they stay at home !!!

Can anyone tell me what the point was of having Ian Stark as the eventing expert on the commentating. What a waste of opportunity. I'm not really into eventing but all he kept saying was ' he's a golden oldie' this is an ' older horse compared to some of the younger horses' ?? He wasn't informative, entertaining, animated or anything for that matter.

Who on earth is it that choses these people for the BEEB. Can we really not find people more viewer friendly ?

I am sure he is a great trainer etc and well respected but .........

Ah, you see I'm a real Stark fan, but I admit I do enjoy the way in which they change the commentating team around inviting Tina, Clayton, Emily, William into the box for a little while between rides etc. Makes for some variety and good banter! :)
