where can i advertise a free pony for free?

hi there
i am looking for somewhere to adverise my pony for free - as i want to give her away to a good home. any ideas?
i know you cannot advertise on this forum.

Or loan if you aren't bothered about the money / it isn't worth any. At least then it's still yours if you change your mind or they are not trating it well. Personally I would never give a horse away, I'd definately loan it.
 
You could try your local FreeAds newspaper.

I think you are more likely to find a nicer home if you put a price tag on her!!
 
I would definitely ask for some money for the pony as it shows comittment and definitely would not loan if you are going out of the country easy come easy goes springs to mind.

I sold a field companion for £300 which meant I got no time wasters and the people were truly looking and prepared to pay. Once we had agreed his new home I then donated all his things rugs, buckets anything that would be useful to them. He was also suitable for hacking and pony club so i gave them the tack

Horse exchange is the web site that I got a good response from or try your local tack shop, riding club etc
 
I think I would try to advertise locally. tell your farrier, vet, notice in tack shop, free ads paper. that way you are more likely to know the people and know its a good home.
