Hi,
Where is best to advertise for a sharer? I am slightly dubious as how is best as some ppl may not just be interested in the horse?! Where have u found sharers and is it a good idea to draw up a contract etc?

You can usually do ads on horsemart and even on here (horse and hound)

And it is a good idea to draw up a contract saying who and what your allowed to do with the horse

Please get it in writing, i told our ponys sharer last September to take a hike and the mother refused!! They still have part of his tack. I wish i had got it in writing. They were supposed to pay £50 per month towards his rent and we never saw it. The final straw was them jumping him every day, he is a very keen jumper but he started refusing, the girl was a little big for him although only 10 she looks more like 13. I think for a pony in his early 20s it ws too much.

We advertised in the tack/feed shops.
