They only seem to do them to 5.75" which isnt the right size, having a nightmare finding suitable bit that is dressage legal for my big horse in the right size.
I don't think they make them bigger than 5 3/4 sadly
You could probably get one made up but not with the Happy Mouth. Does your horse really need a 6"? I find with the straight mouth bits you can sometimes get away with a slightly smaller mouthpiece (because obviously they don't bend in the middle
She is in a 6" rubber straight bar pelham now and hardly has any room in that I wouldnt want to go smaller for her, has been tried but rubbed at the side. That was used for less than an hour and is my smaller mares bit.
She completely objects to the joins of a snaffle or lozenge have tried both. Not sure if its her tongue which seems to completely fillall her mouth and makes other mouthpieces uncomfortable.
Is myler dressage legal? All seems rather complicated this dressage!!
I couldn't find a 6" Rubber straight bar bit or a Happy Mouth straight bar hanging cheek, I have had to settle for a 6" Happy Mouth Straight Bar Snaffle.
My horse goes really well in for dressage though (to my suprise!) I have the same problem, all jointed bits really upset him.
Yes it's dressage legal as long as it's the mullen mouth one and not the triple barrel. My horse hates a jointed bit, has a huge tongue and lips and is very forward going, so finding a bit for him to go in was a nightmare, but he loves his myler. It was the only straight bar hanging cheek I could find in his size. It might even be 6 1/4" I think as it was in centimetres and that was closest. It fits him very well though.
