im going to the brs in 6 weeks and need some good riding boots. the ones i have now have too thick soles so i cant use them there and i dont think theres much point using the schools boots when i'll have to buy my own when i leave

preferbly i'd like national hunt racing boots even if they're not fitted (just cause of the flat soles and i love the skinny leg look

) but if not i'll buy workrider boots, if i can find them in the UK. iv searched ebay, amazon, google, etc and cant use saddlery.biz cause its in ireland

any help will be REAALLYY appreciated!!!

I really wouldn't buy race riding boots for everyday riding out as they won't last you 2 weeks, and also, because the soles are so thin they will absolutely kill your feet when you've got them in the stirrups.

So definitely go with work riding boots, or jodhpur boots and chaps.
This is a good website for racing stuff:
http://www.saddlery.biz/sp/templateid/145/searchbox10/Jockeys_Clothing.html

or better yet, go to Gibson's Saddlery when you get to Newmarket, and they'll sort you out with everything you might need.

ETA: just seen, you said you can't use saddlery.biz as they're in Ireland, but I've used them with no problems, so I'm not really sure what you mean there
