I am looking to buy some aluminum horse shoes, so far I havent been able to find anywhere to buy them from. I want to make wedding/birthday gifts out of them and thought Aluminum shoes would be best as they are lighter than normal horses shoes.

Help please!! The only places on the web I can find are in the US and wont ship over here. I want 'new' shoes, not used ones as the one that come off our horses are usually totally battered. Surely somewhere in the UK must sell them!

Also, do you think you have to be a registerd farrier to buy them?

If it turns out you have to be registered to buy them I'm sure he'd get them for me. Our race horses are trained down south and I live in the north west, when they come home for their holls they have there racing plate removed and steel shoes put on so our farrier doesnt have racing plates
