I'm looking for a turnout rug for a 11.2 Dartmoor. I liek the Gallop Ponie range but everything in 5'0 is out of stock! I'd like her to have something with a neck on in the stable as her stable is exposed to the elements and also something thicker than a 50g on when she's clipped outside!

I've been looking at the Shires Tempest but again hard to find anything in the right size. What rugs do you all recommend for your ponies that won't break the bank?

Amigo proper pony are good IME
They are also apparently sold out in 4’9 and 5’ across the board 🤷‍♀️
I did buy a ruggles after reccomendation and I was super impressed at first. Lovely quality feeling rug.
However the clips on the front have already needed replacing after little use, it’s had little use because the pony gets. Huge wet patch across the top of her rump. I think it must leak at the seam or something maybe. It’s ok as I use it in conjunction with a thicker under rug now, for the money I’d like better really though!

Mark Todd for my Dartmoor's. I got them from Redpost. Reasonably priced, lots of styles/combinations and mine have lasted well and they fit well.

Best turnout I have for my Welsh a is his heavyweight rhino, amazing quality and fits like a glove. All his Amigos are really good too. He’s got a new swish heavyweight stable as I couldn’t find anything over 300g and he’s fully clipped, it’s a great rug but I did go down a rug size, his normal size would have been way too big.
