Where can I find someone to come and pull his mane?

I have looked in the local tackshops and there are no adverts for people who will come and do this, but I could swear I'd seen one somewhere.

I don't want his mane to look a mess so would rather pay someone to come and do it.

Anyone any ideas? I'm in Somerset.

Thanks.

You could always have a bash with a solo-comb? I think they're a bit easier to use etc and have less chance of mucking it up

Will no one on your yard or something do it? If you're on a yard that is.

I pulled my boys tonight, it's slowly loosing the hack-saw look

Whereabouts are you? If you're in South Somerset I expect my YM would come and do it for a reasonable rate (and / or give you a lesson in mane pulling so you can do it in the future). She does clipping etc for people.

Darcylu - thanks. I have a solocomb but find regrowth is a bit pants. I am on a yard on my own. I do know how to pull a mane but never seem to get it right.

Laura, I'm in Taunton Deane (Wellington to be precise), so maybe a bit far...

maybe ring couple of insrtuctors or equine colleage folk???

the local equine colleage here always has loads of instuctors or exp students who do all sorts for folk!

Me - I'll do it
