A bombproof pony for a 10 year old girl to loan to learn to ride on. not really bothered about age, colour etc 13.2 - 14.1 hh

It seems they are as rare as hens teeth!!!

Get in touch with the local pony club or look on the pony club websites classifieds. Word of mouth will be your best bet though and i'm sure your local PC would be happy to help you out.

I tried that but most of them at the mo seem to be good second ponies. I'll just have to keep my ear to the ground I think!

To be honest the best place to learn is a riding school, but if your set on getting her her own pony then just keep your ear to the ground and keep searching, they are around you just have to look

I am a fully qualified instructer with my own event horses and youngsters, have my own yard and have taught gazzilions of children to ride so am quite happy teaching her myself. I just want the right pony and no one seems to have one.
