Where can I find...?

... an earless full face fly mask??? preferably one that 'stands away' from the face if that makes sense.

My boys forelock is fairly long (he's a Sec D) and the masks with ears tend to trap his forelock against his eyes which makes them weep. But, I would like one with the nose bit to prevent him burning - he has a pink muzzle.

Of course I could pull his forelock shorter but it acts as quite a good shade for his eyes and offers some protection from the flies. But on those hot sunny days, its not really enough hence the question. All the full face ones I've seen so far have ears, the only ones that don't are the half face ones and that won't protect his little pink nose :-(

Any thoughts gratefully received and cookies for everyone who has read this (and cos its Friday - hurrah!)

The Shires ones with the skeepskin trim are available earless and stand well off from the face - not sure about a nose piece though, mine doesn't have one but there were several variations to choose from when I bought mine.

I swear there's a full face/ears/nose one that has a hole for the forelock - I want to say Equilibrium but I may be wrong.

You can get a nose protector that just fits to a headcollar (use it with fieldsafe or leather headcollar) That way you can either not bother with the fly mask at all or if he needs it as well use it with a short one without ears. Or you could plait his forelock? He won't need to keep the flies away it if he has a mask on but it'll be long enough for when he's out and about.

Sorry don't know the make but my mare has a full face that standds away from her face with ears and a hole for her forelok. It is long enough to cover her nose completelyas she has a pink nose too. They sell them at big shows as that's where I got it and saw them at Windsor recently.
