Where can I get my lorry weighed?

All this talk of weights and payloads has got me thinking!!

I'm 99.99% sure I'm fine with my lorry - 7t stalled for 2 horses not much living - but cannot recall ever knowing what the exact payload is.

We've had the box 6 years and I've just passed my lorry test so am now responsible for driving / insurance etc and would be interested to know the exact payload.

Can you take lorries to get the weighed? Where would be the nearest to Guildford?

Don't know about your area but some local feed merchants have their own weighbridge. If you ask nicely I imagine they will help you.

google.. public weighbridge followed by yr area, the council should have one near by, they may charge arond a tenner to use it but you will get a certificate stating unladed weight.

Have just googled properly - must have been doing something idiotic before as got no results and there is a council one about 10 miles from me.
