Can anyone recommend any websites or catalogues that sell a good range of extra full size browbands (without extra large price tags!)? Or can anyone reccomend any particualr brands that are good? I had a look on ebay and there were a few, but I'm rather dubious about buying brands I dont know incase the quality is poor...

I dont want anything with too much bling.... but something a bit more interseting than his usual plain black one....

I'm also looking for some extra long laced reins.... an ideas?

The rest of his bridle is full size (and I will get told off if I buy a whole new bridle!!) but I cant seem to find any places that sell parts of bridles in extrabighead and extralongneck sizes?!!!

I have the same problem (x-full browband and noseband, full headpiece, and cob cheek pieces!).
I got a really nice stitched hunter browband from my local saddler, and the only others one's I've found are the standard jeffries or sabres which I think come in rolled or flat leather styles.
There is a definite gap in the market!

Dobert do xtra full size browbands (they are called warmblood size) these are quite nice and come in lots of patterns. Otto schumacher also do warmblood browbands for dressage and they are MASSIVE! Don't think they are too pricey, not sure? I have a big warmblood swarovski browband, it is beautiful but it did cost quite a few pennies. A lot of the dressage companies tend to do larger stuff and german leatherwork always seems to be bigger than english. I know you can order jeffries and sabre browbads and reins in any length you want but they are quite boring! Often on ebay they sell albion and stubben browbands on their own, you have to look out for them but you can get big head sizes in both of these!

Thank you so much for making this, have been looking for a really nice one and havent found any. My local tack shop only had this horrible one (ONLY ONE EXTRA FULL Grrrr)

and pickle is extra full in absulutely everything, such a pain wish someone would make a shop dedicated to big horses! like that site for riding gear for big ladies!

Look for side saddle reins - I've got some lovely laced ones for SS. They're extra long because the rider sits higher and holds the reins further from the horse's mouth
