Where can I get this bit?

I had this bit second hand over 20 years ago, and figured I would quite like to replace it before it breaks, however I can't find anything the same.
So, it kind of looks like a stainless steel french link, however the link is curved, longer, and more rounded than the standard french link, which I didn't actually realise until I have come to get another. If all else fails I could get a bit with a lozenge, but thats not quite the same. Not sure the photos show what I mean, but can anyone help? (it's a 5") (sorry the photos are a bit big!)

it just looks like an older version of a french link, but u could get a half moon snaffle which has a bit more of a curve init. il see if i can get a pic

they are abit different but i havnt seen one like that anywhere. these ones are from cotswoldsport

Try Shires / Barnstormers. They sometimes have unusual bits like that. Failing that try bitworld (best to phone them as website isn't that up to date). As a last resort abbey bits might make you one.

I have nearly new spare in tack room .Will have a look tomorrow and see if it has same curve.

Thats a Dr Bristol my friends pony used to go in one years ago nd u can still get them new

Thanks for your ideas, I have never seen those 1/4 and 1/2 moon bits so may try one of those.
