The beach maybe, or to some woods with horse access for a long hack?

Or if you want to compete go show jumping indoors or indoor dressage, or you could even go for lessons to someone new or something :)

Was about to post a similar thing, I am looking to take horseys for nice hack, we are based in cardiff, and have 7.5 ton lorry, where can I go, park easily, suitable for novice rider too, max 1 hr away?

Kenfig is far easier to park a lorry - huge carpark and it's not too far off the motorway on decent roads - the roads to M.Mawr are a bit on the narrow side for my liking. You don't need a permit at all for Kenfig.

The only thing we found when going to Kenfig was the bridle way from the car park was really boggy.... and that was in August !! .. we ended up using part of the footpath as the bridleway was so bad

Went down a few weeks later and it had dried out enough to make it safe to use.
