I've been meaning to do this for a little while - over the summer, I took my horses to the beaches in Norfolk and they really really loved swimming in the sea. Both of them are looking a little glum in their muddy field at the moment - they are eating fine etc. but life is dark and miserable and boring at the moment for them and keeping one of them hunting fit is again fairly tedious and muddy!
So I was wondering if there's anywhere I can take them to go swimming in a horse pool to perk them up and give them a bit of a change? I'm based in Cambridge but happy to travel them up to an hour or so away. I'd prefer a personal recommendation if poss - I'd be wary of just rocking up to any old place and dumping the poor things in cold water!
