where can o buy micronised linseed

Micronised linseed is ground, it's like a meal. There are the odd whole linseeds lurking, but most will be thoroughly ground up in the cooking process.

Gravenhorse and Charnwood Milling (Google them!) both sell full fat linseed meal in 20kg bags and deliver.

thanks, i did ask about the ground linseed, but they said it had to be cooked up or socked, which was what i was trying to avoid

Not sure what your supplier is suggesting you buy, but to be on the safe side I'd look on either the Gravenhorse or Charnwood Milling websites and look up their linseed meal. Both are pre-cooked and need nothing more done to them.

I asked at our local feed supplier (who gets stock via Bone's) and they've been able to order me in the 20kg bags from Charnwood which saves me the delivery cost. Just bought another bag yesterday, cost me £21.60.

You can get it in small quantities from Natural Horse Supplies or in a large bag from Charnwood, they were very fast to deliver for me last week on a first order. I think the bag will probably last me all winter.

Ask your local feed shop to order Charnwood's Micronised Linseed in for you, I get it for around £20 from the feed shop.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes from ordering to delivery with Charnwood?

Very quickly IME.

Their website states that orders received before 8am (so, more often than not orders made online the night before) will be dispatched the same day via courier and orders can be expected to be received within 3 workings days from the order being processed.

Whenever I've ordered from their online store, my goods have arrive within 48 hrs.

Spyda and hen thanks a lot :). I will order tonight then and expect delivey next week. My tbs had a virus and dropped weight and really want to get some condition on him quick.
