Hi guys,

Is there anywhere near London where one can ride an Arabian horse like for a hack or lesson?

Thanks!

Will follow with interest as I have always wanted to own an arab one day, but have only ridden one a couple of times and even when doing groom work i have always looked after tbs and warmblood type horses. Would love to get more experience with arabs... Hope somebody knows more!

A few years ago there was a riding stables in the Oxted/Godstone area that only used Arab horses.
Can't for the life of me remember its name though. Sorry!

Me too!

Have you tried Crippenden Stud riding school? That is the only place I can think of that might in that area. Arabians tend not to be suited for riding school life in my experience, which perhaps explains why they tend not to be seen there; I have two, and have ridden many more, and they can be fiercely loyal to one person - not exactly cut out for the revolving door of riding school life!!

Oh is that really true about them? I had no idea.

Thanks I'll look up that place.
