Where can you get a ex-racer straight off the track?

Me and my friend was talking today, and she is really interested in getting an ex-racer to bring on to event. I must add she s very experienced and has a brilliant trainer. But where do you look to find them literally straight off the track?

On the RoR facebook fanclub page there was a lady on there at a yard that sells their racers straight from the track after 2 months turned away for a few hundred I think. PM if you want the info

email and ring your local trainers, or buy one at the sales. Best only to buy at the sales if you've got a bit of insider info though
