Hi all! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend! Am looking to get Rio a bridle for every day use so I can save his lovely Stubben one for parties. I tried a plain cavesson one on yesterday and think it quite suits him as he has a very wide blaze all down his face so the thick noseband helps to break it up.

Whoops sent to early! My question is, where did you all get your bridles from? It's my birthday soon and my friends have offered to buy me one so it can be a bit more expensive but not over the top. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I normally get mine from the local tack shop, as I like to feel how soft the leather is and have a real good look over it. Last year I got a really nice one from ~Equestrian clearance which was very nice and a good price. It was a plain caverson with a stiched brow and nose band really nice. My others are Kieffer, but they do tend to be more money.

Just got a brilliant brand new bargain from Ebay on a make an offer basis. It is a well known make and came with rubber reins and is a flash bridle. Really pleased with it!

I had a hunter bridle made for my Irish Draught by my local saddler. Beautiful soft Sedgewicks leather, nice wide noseband and a cut out bit on the headpiece for his big ears. Cost £80.
