Where do accidents happen? Following on from body protectors...

for me it is mounting my horse that poses the biggest problem! he has had saddle issues in the past, and has a fear of mounting blocks, and bolts if you are given a leg up. He has bucked me off a few times getting on, and he has also reared over backwards twice, whilst I get on. I now always get on in the arena, where at least I have a softer landing. Having said that I have never been injured during these "episodes", but have had a couple of very nasty injuries whilst handling horses, namely a broken back, which damaged my spinal chord to the point im a medical marvel. Plus the one I mentioned yday when I nearly drowned and cracked my head open whilst mucking out!
