So, I’m looking for a new horse. After a series of disappointments, I’m feeling apprehensive but can’t imagine life without a horse so hoping some of you might have suggestions.
im an ‘older’( ahem) rider, experienced and competent but not looking for any challenges!
ideally I want a gelding, middleweight ( nice cob would be fine) about 15.2 to do flatwork/ dressage and hacking both alone and in company - and good with farm and countryside traffic. Lovely home on excellent yard with facilities and right horse would have a home for life. I’ve no objections to an older horse - in fact that might suit me better as I don’t always get to ride every day. I’m in the North of England and am looking in this area due to current restrictions. Also, any recommendations of reliable dealers would be very welcome! Thanks all.
