Where do you attach the riens on a bevel bit?

Hi everyone. I know that the riens attach to the loop on the bevel, but I was wondering, can you attach the reins to the open part as well? So it's more like a snaffle?

You can attach to either, the big ring so it’s like a snaffle or the lower ring with more poll pressure (assuming I’m thinking of the same bit! )

Is this the bit your talking about? This is the one I'm planning on getting. But just wanted to know the options for if I can use it as a snaffle or a bit of poll pressure (for when I take my tb to the beach and out galloping/Xc 😅)

I like to stick 2 reins on bits like this, when I'm 99% sure the snaffle will be fine. I bought some really thin reins for the bottom and if all is going well I just loop them through neckstrap where I can still grab if needed.

If you only want to use a single rein ones with clips on are useful if things take a turn and you want to change over.

Love multi use bits really.
