Where do you guys buy neem oil?

As per title really, I'm in Ireland so online only. I bought a small amount and find it great but it was expensive.

Has anyone ever tried feeding neem leaves also? Saw them in my search and like the idea of them stinking my horses up from the inside, there won't be a fly in sight!
 
Thanks everyone. Do you mix it with something else? I'd love to make a spray with it but because it solidifies I don't know if it would work.
 
I got mine from someone on Facebook, the cheapest I could find. I got a 250ml bottle for £6.60 incl p&p I think 1ltr is £12.50 plus a couple of quid p&p. It came very quick too!
 
I use it neat, only thing is it does make his tail yucky.

The tried to do a spray, but it kept solidifying in the spray bottle so if anyone else has any tips I'll be interested too!

I also get from pro equine. I use it neat on mane and tail and any small scabs, clears them up within days. I also mix a spoon of neem with a cup of citronella wash and sponge them off after work, leaves them nice and shiny too! I'm not sure how you could make a spray with it but I have seen neem fly sprays but can't remember where sorry!
 
I use it neat, I just apply using an old short bristled body brush. I brush all over including the dock, but I brush along the crest not directly into the mane. It tends to clog up the mane and with a fly rug over the top does a good job of matting the mane and pulling it out 😐
 
Thanks everyone. I had ideas of making my own spray like the big nerd that I am but maybe using it neat is the way to go. Oh how I wish it didn't solidify.

I made a spray up which has been fine. 1 part neem to 20 parts water, with a drop of something like washing up liquid (I used baby shampoo as its all I had!) just to let the oil disperse through the water. Doesn't have to be exactly 1:20 but just a guide.
 
Get mine from Amazon (The Aromatherapy shop ltd) for £5.45 inc P+P.

I use it neat and even when it goes hard it isn't exactly solid so I squeeze a bit out onto my gloves and warm in my hands and rub it in! Probably works better than oil as none get's spilt ;)
 
As muckypony said, you need to mix washing up liquid with the neem and water. This helps it disperse in the water to use as a spray. You really need to mix it as you need it though rather than have a bottle mixed at the ready. I use a product called stinkystuff from Facebook.
