Usually keep mine in the pocket of my gillet, if its too hot to wear one of those, i pop it in my breeches pocket.

In my car .... no signal where we are, so it stays there. The beast bit one of my phones in half when it was in my pocket, so that's another reason to keep it away from him.

I ALWAYS carry my phone. Either in a bum-bag, a neoprene holder on the sleeve or in a pocket, depending on the weather.
Even if I'm in the arena I have it.
I will never forget the occasions that I have had to use it in an emergency, particularly the conversation that went ..."oh hi, where are you?"

In pocket or in a bag which a kind neighbour made for me, it is a modified bum bag which attaches to the D- rings and the girth. The only down side is if I part company with the mare she will have the phone, not me.

I keep my phone either in the pocket of a jacket but in the summer I slide mine down my half chaps..... i always find my phone stabs me when its in my joddie pocket, not to mention the other implications of having it there

problem with the arm holder ones is that if you fall off you are highly likely to land on an arm or a leg and smash your phone! been there, done that, sitting at the side of the road with your head spinning and with no way of phoning for help is very very scarey situation.
Mine now goes down my bra because if i fall off and land on my front (highly unlikely but you never know) then the phone wont smash and i can phone for help if needed.
I've also got a phone holder that attaches to my saddle but thats no good if the horse pees off
