My son has sadly outgrown his 13.1hh hunting pony, apart from PC web site and horse and hound web site and magazine is their any other place to advertise. We have tried both and had very few suitable replies. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I would suggest HorseQuest, it has many good families wanting your ponies, although I was advertising a show hunter rather than a hunter I had, had 6 phone calls within an hour of putting him on and found a lovely home. You could also try HorseMart but this is usually for people looking for allrounders. Hope this helps :) x

would try horse quest or pc site! but if hunting is the pony's thing i would get it cubbing in autumn and sell then! if it does all the other jobs ie pc, ode tetrathlon, xc, sj, d etc then advertise now. contact all your local hunts. the market is very slow at the moment.

Ditto to some of the other replies. Word of mouth for that type of pony seems to sell best. hope you get on well with him, sounds like a great pony

Definitely H&H, and also PC website. Our hunt secretary sends round emails to the subscribers etc about any wanted / for sale ponies and horses and a lot get snapped up before they are advertised.
