Where has Surrey Equestrian gone?

Actually, it used to be called Surrey Pet Supplies, and then they split off the equestrian side of things into a separate site. Which was very annoying as I used to pick up horsey bits and pieces with my cat food ;)

There doesn't appear to be any sign of their website, all links lead to Surrey Pet Supplies & they don't sell equestrian stuff. It's strange because the owners were posting on this forum saying they were sorting out the recent difficulties over orders & unhelpful staff etc.

My friend went there today and apparently they were having a closing down sale!!! I don't know anymore than this but will be popping in tomorrow as she said she got some absolute bargains today.

I noticed that theres no relation to Surrey "Equestrian" via their usual website either- I hope they are still selling horsey stuff in their shop as I had planned to take a trip over there soon!-

Does anyone know why they are only selling pet stuff on the website?- I may give them a call later I think!.....

My sister went there a few days ago and said it was all pretty empty. They had reduced the amount of feed they stocked to the point where there was no point going unless you wanted hifi, and even then only the original  and they had no bedding at all.

It's a shame because they had a huge range of things at good prices, presumably it wasn't working in terms of working capital.

I am sorry to say it is true we are closing down Surrey Equestrian and all items we have left are being sold off at a cheap rate.
We have decided to do this as both me and Tracey are not horsey people and were finding it hard to know all about the equipment etc.
I would like to thank everyone who has bought off us over the last 3 years.
We are now going back to Surrey Pet Supplies and focusing on Dogs, Cats, and Small Animals which we know best.

Thank you once again

I was in there recently and they said that they were reducing the store to concentrate on the online business? They were also advertising for staff so I don't think it's closing down? They don't do pet stuff anymore apart from the odd bag of food.

Not sure about the website, but as long as the store stays open I shall be happy :D

Can anyone help me as I am confused and am very worried.

I never used Surrey Equestrian before as I was always worried they were too cheap (you have to wonder if things are almost too good to be true) but I thought I would give them a go last week.

I have been waiting and waiting for my order to arrive.

Now I cant get an answer from them to my emails.

I have read these posts and dont know what to think? Are they selling horsey stuff or not? My local saddlery in Ashford says they have gone bust and had there stock taken away!

Does anyone know how I can get my money back? I am new to here but desperate for advice x
