i have found his stud card but cant see where he is standing at stud. i have a yearling that is a grand son to him, so just really wondering. also have some mares that would like to take to him next year. thanks
Completely irrelevant, but my sister has a gelding by him, he's a funny horse. he's 12, but still acts like a baby, he has evented showjumped etc, and at some point was schooled dressage to an inch of his life, but until she got him, was never hacked out!! In fairness, he's good in traffic, but afraid of everything else. I think he was wrapped in cottonwool from the beginning. She bought him cheap, but he's coming round to her way of thinking, and is such a happier horse being out during the day. Still needs a bit more tlc, but is chilling out. Wouldnt mind but mare had good breeding too, so just goes to show, yoou never know. He's well capable of jumping a meter 20, but is inconsistant. I do think he might have had greater potential if he had been in the right hands at the right time!!!!
Cavalier royale was some stallion though, saw a pony by him for sale during the week for £55,000, so he must have done something right!!!
