where is high hoyland???? please help directions needed

I'm hacking over to high hoyland open day tomorrow and i dont know where i'm going!!!
also in nl2

Me and my friend are going to play i'm taking my baby 4yo but i cannot find anywhere where it is!! someone the other day said they were going on the forum PLEASE could i have some directions

I'm not completly special i know it is off the a636 between scissett and the roundabout but don't know where

Where are you coming from? Do you know where Bretton Park is? The end where they used to have the BE event and gallops? Or where Emley show used be?

If you go through Scissett and carry on through Kirk Burton, just after the fields where Emly show used to be you need to take a right. The road goes up a big hill and you'll pass Bretton park on your left and if you carry on up it is on your left, there's a little old church and it's in the fields behind that.

Good directions except it's Clayon West and not Kirkburton otherwise you'll be very far away

on google maps looks like it is Litherop lane you want to turn up to go via the gallops.
Another way is - if you turn up by the wood shop in Clayton west and then go right up that hill for ages you'll eventually see the Cherry tree pub after this there is a road to left up a little hill and is you ride along this road you'll see horseboxes and horses etc not too far away.
Obviously not knowing which yard you're coming from I'm not sure which way would be best for you.
 
Also if your coming along the A636 from Scissett there is a farm road you can ride up there go to the top turn left and it brings you out on the same road as starbuck says

it just gets you off the fast road quicker.
Just one thought though is the road up to high hoyland open yet after the murder?
 
Body of a man found in a ditch just next to BMW shot police said exicution (sp) Hitman type murder could be to do with drugs but you know what goes on on that road dont you i think it was something to do with that. Will try and find a news link.
 
you are all fab thank you - I'll be coming down langley lane - crossing over the roads at the 2nd left by the farm to join lithorpe road - thanks again - i liked how the local paper said it was a well known spot for sex addicts!!!!
