Out of interest? (and the fact that o/h friend is a haulier and asked the other day if i ever wanted a pallet collected!)

Price per bale, area your in and if you know it the size of the bale!

Just recently it occurred to me that the "really cheap" bedding i was buying was only a 75L bale where for £2 More i could get better bedding in a 135L bale- so actually cheaper!

Well it's definitely NOT in West Sussex

25kg = £7.99
22kg = £6.60 when bought in volume (min 50 bales)

Sorry don't know the volume, just the weight.
 
I have just bought Hunters -25k I think, for £8 a bale delivered. Ordered 20 bales at 9.30 delivered at 11.30! We're in West Wiltshire.
 
ALL too expensive , bah ,
- back in the old days we could go down the docks in a horsebox and fill it for free.
All the kids from the riding school used to help put it in whatever bags and sacks were to hand ...
arrr, them were the days ;)

I don't remember what they charge around here now - about £7 a big bale
but we don't live near the docks anymore
