Hi everyone,

where do I buy a horse harness for my heavy cob to help me harrow one of our small fields. I was thinking a breastband harness?

Does anyone else get their horse to help them out?

I am sick to death of this rain and frizzy hair...........grr

Be careful, don't buy cheap indian leather harness, its not strong enough and "snaps" easily, I know first hand and I was only long reining a frisky youngster, if you can afford it buy a quality one.

I would use a collar and hames rather than a breast collar for harrowing.

Be careful regarding the leather. Dragon and Drive sometimes have harness going at a fair price.

My old cob earnt his keep and OH makes his cob do the bin run, hay run and will plough next seson and sideline the hay making (works on a victorian museum thing).
