Hi all
We,ve recently gone over to a large horse lorry( coach bulit iveco cargo called Colin ) to carry our expanding herd of neddies and so had to part with katy and toby

Toby (2005 ifor 505 ) sold easily and quickly on ebay last weekend , but where to advertise katy?(2003 kia sorrento) ,
We,ve had her since new shes only done 40,000 miles , shes an absolute superb tow vehicle and aint bad on fuel as a run around , but ebay is expensive regards fees , auto trader might be the way but some at yard reckon i should advertise in a horse mag? , i did think of horsemart but theres no 4x4 section is there?
any ideas?
many thankies in advance

As an ex cardealer , I would suggest autotrader it reaches a larger market and they have an internet site so much greater chance of selling the car - good luck

Sorry been out of trade about 6 yrs so my advice would be to ring a couple of dealers to get a guide line , buy a copy of autotrader and have a look at similar cars . You can also buy magazines that give tables of car values in newsagents . If you sell it and take a bankersdraft make sure you get this verified before letting the car go .

I advertised my car a few years ago on autotrader with pics and everything but didn't even have one call (it was a peugeot 206 CC convertible). I would try exchangeandmart as well as autotrader - to be honest i find exchangeandmart easier to search on and I bought my previous 4x4 through there.

What sort of price you looking at? I have a friend who is looking for a new 4x4 after her daihatsu has just been broken into and is effectively now a write off! think she's looking at Discovery really but maybe hasn't considered a Kia...
