I may be looking for the impossible, but any suggestions on where to advertise for a sharer? I am not sure I can face the fb idiots. She is currently only in light work (only due to my lack of time). She is SJ bred and very talented, but has never competed regularly as I don't have transport. She is sharp, so would need to be a fairly decent rider. She previously had a tendon injury and is fully recovered, but I wouldn't want her doing xc or being hammered. I would be happy for them to compete her, but obviously she would need to be fitter. Does this person exist? I am unlikely to have any more time for her in the next few years so would be long term.
Does this person exist or am I dreaming? She is a lovely little horse, but not for everyone and honestly she isn't really suited to light work. If so any suggestions on where to advertise, or do I just suck it up and put her on fb? A friend suggested the local shop and have asked around.

I think the right person will exist (I have a couple of friends who love this sort and don’t have their own) but I think most would rely on Facebook to find a share so you might have to heavily filter I’m afraid or word of mouth. - which does still work as my mum def isn’t on Fb ?

Facebook sharing and riding groups for your area or county will get the message passed on and people may respond with suggestions.
But it is worth asking clients (not staff) of local RSs as many adults ride only at a RS because they cant find a share.

I found a super one on facebook.

There were a lot of dreamers who were totally unsuitable.

I knew who I was looking for, quizzed them thoroughly. Told many that they wouldn’t be suitable. Had three visit. Offered two days each to two. And then one dropped off the radar after a month.

The lady I’ve ended up with has been super.
