Where to advertise - horsequest, equestrian notice board, HH, or other?

As in the title - I am advertising my horse, and wondered where people are searching (for this sort of thing). Has hunted, done a couple of unaffiliated events, would showjump though it's not my thing, good in all ways and sound. 9 year old Irish gelding. I can't decide whether I am better promoting him as a hunter/allrounder (given the time of year), or as a potential eventer for next year who would hunt or hack through winter. Thanks for any thoughts!

I've usually sold horses at the price I want through Preloved and it's free so I would always start there before paying.

He sounds very marketable.

Sold my guy recently on Horsequest to the perfect home in 4 days.
Of course we're meant to say H&H but since it's affiliated with whickr nowadays I wouldn't bother. It's the clunkiest website/app

Horsequest for that type of horse.

I have sold a few through that site and they have always gone quickly and the applicants have been sensible. I have got the £ I wanted too as people looking on that one don't seem to be dreamers as much.

I only seem to look at Horsequest. Its easy to look at because of the filters. You can weed out so many horses by just looking at the videos, some of them are awfully lame and some aren't moving correctly due to overcompensating in other areas of the body.

I'm lucky, if i see one I like and I watch the video and think I've seen something amiss I send it to my friend who is a professional and she looks at it and gives me the benefit of her experience. She's very good, I trust her 100%.

I would use HorseQuest and The Equestrian Noticeboard. The Equestrian Noticeboard do get a lot of reach on Facebook, which is not insignificant 😃.
