I am trying to find the best place to advertise a share in my daughters pony. she isn't really that interested but I don't want to sell the pony just yet, I would like to give her more time as she gets older.
I can't find anywhere that advertises pony shares in the south of england. Also I dont really want to spend £50 on and advert when I am not going to gain anything from it. I won't be getting any money and dont need a rider, just thought it would be nice for the pony to get some more attention.

Put a notice in your local tack room and up a couple of local livery yards. In my area, people pay a lot to share a safe pony, so you should be able to find someone :)

Trouble is I find that becuase this pony is only suitable for little people they either do not already own a horse and therefore do not visit tack shops or if they do there is already ponies at the yard they are at that little one can ride now and again.

This pony is quite elderly and not up to much but is safe for little people to hack out on

I kinda need those people who pay for their tot to ride the shetland at the local riding school but can't advertise there for obvious reasons, not to mention riding schools have it tough enough with people poaching their clients

If pony would be suitable for children with special needs perhaps try and advertise through local special needs schools/RDA. Parents are always looking for this kind of thing for there child.
