Hi all

Just wondering if you could give me some ideas as to where to advertise a stallion standing at stud in the U.K. other than through the breed society, stud website and our own website?
Any ideas, or places/directories you looked at when considering breeding your mare, would be much appreciated!

Thanks both, are these pages created especially for the stallion? Think I’m going to have to get up to speed with all things social media! ?

Maybe take a look at Bruce Thorpeley on Facebook.

He's done incredibly well to get his rare breed stallions a high profile. He's used Social Media really well and got stories picked up in the Daily Mail and H&H. He has encouraged mare owners to consider using a Suffolk stallion for a good cross. It isn't smooth sailing and he's had quite a bit a negative commentary too.

Some are and some are stud pages . It just gives potential mare owners the chance to see what the stallion is up to , and also what the offspring are up to as well
