Out of interest why do you feed milk thistle seed and not the powdered?

I think it is less processed so has a better shelf life and won't go off so quickly. Probably less taste too.
But also could be less effective. Im sure I've fed powdered in the past.
Incidentally OP if you're looking for liver function the detox or cleanser liquids from Equimins are really good, made a very obvious difference to my two old horses.
