I need a wheelbarrow, fork (for straw), shovel and a broom.

I am totally skint.

Anyone know where I can get them cheap?! (and ideally....PINK!)

Any suggestions?

YOU ARE NOT TO GET PINK! NOOOO

For cheap stuff just do not go to a horsey place.

Best go to a local market or perhaps a DIY store, like Focus or something. They should have all that.

i got all those items from my local agricultural shop, wish i could of got mine in pink, came to about £100. wheel barrow was £60!!!! i never knew they were that expensive!!

LOL! Of course it's your choice! Actually it looks to me that purple would match all his kit!

I'd love to hear from you, PM me if you get a pink or a purple wheel barrow on a budget!

*whispers* Argos have a flat pack wheelbarrow for £20.
I don't think you're going to find one much cheaper than that which won't fall apart after 5 minutes use

B&Q wheelbarrows seem to be standard issue on our yard.

I got my wheelbarrow and broom FREE from Freecycle: join up and place a Wanted ad. (You might have to offer something first, it depends on the moderator in your area).

If you're getting a few things you could try Equestrian Clearance. Their P&P is a lot but not so bad if you are ordering several items:

You could try using a big tubtrug bucket for mucking out... That's what I use as the muckheap isn't too far away, but it depends how far you've got to go.

Make sure you get a sharp pronged fork - not the digging type. Good luck with your shopping!

ETS: what happened to the tools you had before? You had a barrow etc, didn't you?

I sold the barrow when I moved over the road!! And the fork was rubbish...no idea where the spade and broom have gone!!
My shavings fork is still with you I think?! But I don't need that anyway! Think the muckheap is miles away, so need a barrow really (and a decent size one so I don't have to make too many trips)
